TurboGetTerms of Use
These terms apply to the TurboGet app, the TurboGet browser extension and TurboGet Pro licenses. Last updated: September 30, 2026.
1. Who we are
TurboGet is made by an independent developer. You can reach us at [email protected]. International payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record; payments in mainland China are processed by Afdian.
2. Free version and trial
TurboGet can be used for free with limits (see Pricing). A new installation includes a 7-day trial of all Pro features, once per computer. We may adjust the free version's limits in future versions.
3. Your Pro license
- A TurboGet Pro license is a one-time purchase. It lets you use TurboGet Pro on up to 2 computers at a time, on macOS or Windows, for personal or work use.
- Your purchase includes 1 year of free updates. Versions released during that year can be used forever, even if you don't renew. Renewing extends free updates by another year.
- To move to another computer, unlink the old one in the app (up to 3 times in 30 days).
- The app checks the license online about once every 7 days. If it cannot check for more than 10 days, Pro features pause until the next successful check.
- The license is for you. You may not share, resell or publish your license key, or try to bypass the license checks.
4. Copyright and your responsibility
TurboGet is a tool. You decide what to download, and you alone are responsible for it. By installing or using TurboGet you agree to the following.
4.1 Only download what you have the right to use
Use TurboGet only for content that:
- you created or own yourself;
- is in the public domain, or is released under a license that allows downloading (for example certain Creative Commons licenses); or
- the copyright holder or the website has clearly allowed you to download, including through an official download button or offline feature.
If you are not sure you have that right, do not download the content.
4.2 What you must not do
- Download, copy or save content that is protected by copyright or other rights without the rights holder's permission, unless a legal exception clearly applies to you.
- Share, upload, sell, rent, publicly show, broadcast or otherwise distribute downloaded content without permission, or use it commercially.
- Remove, bypass or weaken DRM, encryption, paywalls, login checks or any other technical protection. TurboGet does not provide these functions and must not be combined with tools that do.
- Download paid, members-only or subscription content in order to avoid paying for it, or share your account or its content with people who are not entitled to it.
- Remove or change watermarks, author names, copyright notices or rights-management information in downloaded content.
- Break the terms of service of the websites you download from, including limits on automated access, bulk downloading or mirroring.
- Download content that is illegal, infringes someone's privacy or portrait rights, or is otherwise unlawful where you live.
4.3 You bear the consequences
- Copyright law differs between countries and regions. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply to you and the terms of each website.
- Any claim, complaint, fine, damages or other liability arising from content you download or from how you use it is yours alone. TurboGet and its developer are not responsible for it.
- You agree to compensate TurboGet and its developer for any claims, losses and reasonable costs (including legal fees) caused by your breach of this section or your infringement of anyone's rights.
4.4 What TurboGet does and does not do
- TurboGet only downloads what you ask it to, from websites you choose, to your own computer. It does not provide, host, index, recommend or share any content, and we have no knowledge of or control over what you download.
- Mentioning a website or showing a supported site does not mean that site or its rights holders allow downloading.
4.5 Rights holders
If you are a rights holder and believe TurboGet is being used to infringe your rights, email [email protected]. We will look into it and may take reasonable measures, such as ending the license of a user who is shown to infringe repeatedly or seriously.
5. Third-party components
TurboGet includes open-source components such as yt-dlp and FFmpeg. They are provided under their own licenses, which are included with the app.
6. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. Purchases can be refunded within 7 days.
7. Ending a license
A license ends if it is refunded or charged back, or if it is shared, resold, used to infringe others' rights, or used in serious breach of these terms. When a license ends, TurboGet returns to the free version.
8. Disclaimer and liability
TurboGet is provided “as is”. Websites change often, and we cannot guarantee that every site or file can be downloaded. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.
9. Agreement
By installing or using TurboGet you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, including section 4. If you do not agree, do not use TurboGet.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Changes do not reduce what you already bought.
