TurboGet / Help

Less figuring out.
More getting it done.

From your first install to the last step of a download.

If something isn’t working

A video isn’t detected

Refresh the video page. Check that the extension is connected and has permission for that site. You can also paste the original video page URL into TurboGet.

A download fails or a link expires

Read the task’s specific error. For signed-in sites, check access in your browser. If a video link expires, try resolving the original page again.

Saving and deleting files

Change the name and folder in the new-download window. Removing a task is different from removing the task and its file. Check before deleting files.

Contacting support

Include your system version, TurboGet version, the error, and steps to reproduce it. Never send cookies, account passwords, full license keys, or private links.

FAQ

A few things
you might be wondering.

Help
Which computers and browsers are supported?

TurboGet supports macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon and Intel, and Windows 10 / 11 x64. The extension works with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and other Chromium browsers, plus Safari on Mac.

Can it download videos from every website?

No tool can guarantee that. Availability depends on the website, your access, its streams, and the extension version. Some store versions also have platform-policy restrictions. TurboGet does not bypass DRM or paywalls. Only download content you have the right to use.

Can every interrupted download be resumed?

When the server supports resume and the file can be verified, TurboGet can reuse your progress. If the source changes, a link expires, or resume is unsupported, the app explains your next options instead of silently combining different files.

Do I have to pay for Pro every year?

No. Your one-time purchase includes a year of updates. You can keep using releases covered by your license. Renewing updates is optional, with no automatic charges.

Does the phone app download the files?

Phone sharing sends links to your own computer. Android uses an app and iPhone uses a shortcut. The running desktop app downloads the file—not your phone or a cloud downloader.

Does any data leave my devices?

Files download directly from the source to your computer. Phone links pass through the relay and are deleted after 7 days. The app also makes license and update requests and sends anonymous statistics you can turn off. See the Privacy Policy.
